Reflecting on Surah Al-Mu’minun:91-118

This passage contains Duas in Ayahs 23:78-79, 23:109, 23:118. Do I make these duas? If I do, then teach to those who don’t.

I know some of these Duas, but unfortunately I am not very consistent with them. I need to make sure I say them regularly and I also need to make an effort to teach it to others. Inshallah.

Uzma Jawed

These truly are beautiful du’as , and the people who say them are loved by Allah, and they are the mu’minoon. Alhamdulillah I know them because w e had to learn them for the course, but I do not say them as often as I should. I usually make du’as in my own words, but it is very important to also remember to make dua’s in Arabic, as no language is as beautiful and vast as the Arabic language. These du’as Allah mentions are in Arabic, so I know I must make an active effort to rememeber to say them insha’Allah.

Sana Ahmed

I’ve only memorized the one for travel when Prophet  Nuh AS was disembarking from the ark. I recited it to my husband last night. When I keep doing that he’ll learn it too. I also thought of writing the dua’s I learnt and writing the tafseer a long with it. It’s the tafseer of these dua’s that we learnt in class which motivates us to learn the dua for our own benefit. So I’ll InshAllah write them up and get them checked and give them out to relatives. InshAllah.
