Reflecting on Surah Al-Furqan :1-20

Is it a blessing that Allah send humans as messengers? Do I ever excuse myself from obeying the sunnah saying that I could never be like the Prophet? If someone said this how could I advise them?

It is a great blessing that Allah sent human beings as messengers. Being human beings we can only relate to human beings. So it would only make sense for human messengers to be sent.
I excuse myself of the sunnah of being patient , forgiving others etc. most of the time. I think that because Rasool Allah (S.A.W.) was far greater than me I can’t have the same level of patient that he did or forgive people like he was able to.
If someone said this I could advise them saying that not only Prophet (S.A.W.) but the sahabas and many pious people follow the same sunnah so we can’t excuse ourselves from following the sunnah.
