Action Plan: Inculcating Sabr (Patience)

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

Deeba Qamar

وَلَمَن صَبَرَ وَغَفَرَ إِنَّ ذَلِكَ لَمِنْ عَزْمِ الْأُمُورِ

“And whoever is patient and forgives – indeed, that is of the matters [requiring] determination.”
[Al-Quran-Ash-Shuraa:43]

Sabr is the main ingredient in the recipe of life. Without it one is bound to lose the battle before even beginning it.

  • Try to remain silent whenever I feel angry or agitated and recite taa’wuz.

  • Deliberately changing place so I can focus on other things.
  • Begin to count my blessings rather than feeling hopeless.
