Confidence in Qur’an

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

Sana Ahmad

أَفَمِنْ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ تَعْجَبُونَ

“Then at this statement do you wonder?”
[Al-Qur’an – Surah An-Najm (The Star):59]

Having confidence in the Qur’an also includes recognizing that it is better than everything else that people spend their lives and energies gathering.

Do we truly value the Qur’an? If we think we do, we must look towards our actions and analyze  whether they are according to what He has commanded.

Sometimes I feel apprehensive about telling people that I am studying the Qur’an. I don’t think it is because I am embarrassed; rather it is because I expect them to start questioning my decision or debate with me about it. However, I know that Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) brings us towards the Qur’an at whatever time is most suitable for us, as He knows best. Even if someone does begin to argue, Alhamdulillah I do have enough knowledge to be able to counter their arguments and show them that there is great benefit in learning the Qur’an  this way.

When we do something we know is right, it should give us great confidence – and this is how it should be with regards  to learning and implementing the Qur’an.

This was a nice reflection about how we should have trust and confidence in Allah as well as the Quran since the Holy Quran is the most important book and we should try to follow and act upon the Quran.
